Joyful Jams
Where does JOY live when you’re a kid? In your tapping feet, in the morning sunshine, in dancing signs outside car dealerships, in icy gelatos on hot days, in the elevator as you count the floors, and in your heart when you shake out your worry monsters. Get jamming!

Song list
1: Dance Through the Day
The sun is out to greet you
She says, so very good to meet you
Happy to see your face again with that big, big smile
And it's a bright and lucky morning
Let's get up and get dancing
All through the day together
Are you ready? Set? Shine forever!
Good, good morning, let's circle through the day
Like I circle 'round this galaxy with you
It's a good, good morning
Let's circle to something new
I'm so happy to be circling with you
If I ever go behind a cloud
it's just to make a silver lining
So never, never, never stop shining
And it's a bright and lucky morning
Let's get up and get dancing
All through the day together
Shine, shine together
Good, good morning, let's circle through the day
Like I circle 'round this galaxy with you
It's a good, good morning
Let's circle to something new
I'm so happy to be circling with you
Come circle through the day
Come circle through the day
Come circle through the day
Let's circle through the day
Let's circle through the day
Come circle through the day
Come circle
Good, good morning, let's circle through the day
Like I circle 'round this galaxy with you
It's a good, good morning
Let's circle to something new
I'm so happy to be circling with you
Good, good morning, let's circle through the day
Like I circle 'round this galaxy with you
It's a good, good morning, let's circle to something new
I'm so happy to be circling with you
Good, good morning, let's circle through the day
I'm so happy to be circling with you (Good morning)
I'm so happy to be circling with you (Good morning)

2: Ice Cream Dreams (Freeze Dance)
We're going to jump, jump, jump for gelato
Dream for ice cream
Bop, bop for popsicles
We're going to sway, sway for smoothies
Swoon for sundaes
Chocolate and a cherry on top
Now freeze
One, two, three, now melt
I'll meet you at the gelateria
On the main street by the theater
We can choose our favorite flavours
Like we were next-door neighbors
After we'll catch the movie
Dance on the street together
If we get a little bit icy
We'll get some milk and cookies
Jump, jump, jump for gelato
Dream for ice cream
Bop, bop for popsicles
We're going to sway, sway for smoothies
Swoon for sundaes
Chocolate and a cherry on top, now freeze
One, two, three, now melt
We're going to jump, jump, jump for gelato
Dream for ice cream
Bop, bop for popsicles
We're going to sway, sway for smoothies
Swoon for sundaes
Chocolate and a cherry on top, now freeze
Now melt
Jump, jump
Jump, jump
Ice cream (jump, jump)
Now freeze
We're gonna dream for ice cream

3: Everywhere’s a Dance Floor
Come on and dance dance dance dance
Like an inflatable tube person
Like we got the air running through our hands
We can't help but wave our arms and wiggle everything
Gonna move move move move like we're 20 feet high
So watch us, watch us we're nearly gonna touch the sky
Sky dancers all around the room
Air dancing in the afternoon
Dance dance anyway you love to move
Shake shake like we're made of air
Wave our arms like we just don't care
Dance dance everybody dance right here
Gonna fly fly fly fly till we're on top of the sky
In the inflatable clouds dancing is our life
Gonna dream dream dream dream
Then dream some more
Gonna dance dance dance dance
Cos everywhere's a dance floor
Gonna dance dance dance dance
Cos everywhere's a dance floor
Cos everywhere's a dance floor
Sky dancers all around the room (Cos everywhere's a dance floor)
Air dancing in the afternoon
Dance dance anyway you love to move (Cos everywhere's a dance floor)
Shake shake like we're made of air
Wave our arms like we just don't care (Cos everywhere's a dance floor)
Dance dance everybody dance right here
Cos everywhere's a dance floor

4: Lift Me Up (Elevator Song)
Let's take a deep breath in
and take a ride on the elevator
1, 2, 3, 4
You lift me up, you're an elevator
I push the button and you open the door
I walk in, the music plays
You lift me up, up, up away
You elevate my day
Then you always bring me back down to the ground
You lift me up, you're an elevator
I push the button and you open the doors
When I am feeling down, you always help me count
Up, up, up away
Then you always bring me back down to the ground
You always bring me back down to the ground
The elevator's here
Take a breath, let's go
Starting at the first floor
Now we're at the second floor
Think we're at the third floor
Finally the fourth floor
You elevate my day
You elevate my day
You lift me up, you're an elevator
I push the button and you open the door
I walk in, the music plays
You lift me up, up, up away
You elevate my day
Then you always bring me back down to the ground
You always bring me back down to the ground
You elevate my day
Can we reach the fifth floor?
Supersonic sixth floor
Lucky number seventh floor
Hey, hey, it's eighth floor
You elevate my day, you elevate my day
8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, ground floor
You always bring me back down to the ground
You always bring me back down to the ground (You elevate my day)
You always bring me back down to the ground (You elevate my day)
You always bring me back down to the ground (You elevate my day)

5: Shake it Out (No Worries)
If you got a worry, tell it to me
If you get the scaries, set them free
If you got a worry, tell it to me
If you get the scaries, set them free
Say it out loud or write it down
Maybe it's something we can talk about
Shake it out, let it go
Shake it out, let your feelings flow
Shake it out, don't be afraid to make a sound
All those worries gonna lose their power
When we let 'em out
If you got a worry that keeps coming back
Heavy like a shadow we can shine a light on it
This is a safe space for me and you
So maybe we can talk it through
Shake it out, let it go
Shake it out, let your feelings flow
Shake it out, don't be afraid to make a sound
Shake it out, let it go
Shake it out, let your feelings flow
Shake it out, move your body, ease your mind
All those worries gonna lose their power in the light
Worries get big when they're inside us
I really don't know how they fit
Worries get smaller when they're outside in the sun
Maybe they need space like everyone
Move your body
Ease your mind
Shake it out, let it go
Shake it out, let your feelings flow
Shake it out, don't be afraid to make a sound
Shake it out, let it go
Shake it out, let your feelings flow
Shake it out, move your body, ease your mind
All those worries gonna lose their power in the light
Move your body
Ease your mind
Move your body
Ease your mind

6: Best at Being You
You're the best at being you
I'm the best at being me
and we can find the rhythm
Two and two together make harmony
We can make a world with empathy
Raise your voice with your melody
Be best
Be best at being yourself
Be best
Be best at helping out
Be best
Be best at staying true
Be best
Be best at being you
Two and two together make harmony
We can make a world with empathy
Raise your voice with your melody
Sing your melody
Like a box of crayons
Can't make a rainbow
If we all sing in the same tone
Raise the frequency
No more, no more monochrome
Be best
Be best at being yourself
Be best
Be best at helping out
Be best
Be best at staying true
Be best
Be best at being you
Never know how far you could go if you try
You know you got power in those wings
So be brave and get out and fly
Be best
Two and two together make harmony
We can make a world with empathy
Raise your voice with melody
Can we hear your melody?
Two and two together make harmony
We can make a world with empathy
Raise your voice with melody
Let us hear your melody
Be best
Two and two together make harmony
We can make a world with empathy
Raise your voice with melody
Show the world your melody
Be best at being kind
Be best at listening
Be best at being you
Be best at being you

USEFUL + JOYFUL
Not only is music a joy to bring into your life with kids, it's useful ! I'm Claudia - a songwriter and video producer in Auckland, New Zealand. I have been creating songs for my kids and their friends since 2006 (where did those years go?), and for the wider world with my first official kids' music release back in 2016. Now my catalogue on Little Wild Music, my indie label, is growing, with album 10 out in 2027. You can find my songs on Yoto, all streaming places and in selected physical media, and songbooks too.
I recently won the JOSIE MUSIC AWARDS Best Children's Project for my 2025 album Little Wild Singable Songs. A while back, I won APRA NZ's Children's Song of the Year twice. In 2024, I won NZ Children's Artist of the Year, and I'm so grateful for the opportunities to share the music that I've grown up with, with the world.
I’m proud to be a member with MMF NZ, IMNZ, APRA AMCOS NZ, and a voting member of The Recording Academy and the Children's Music Network USA.
Beautiful music that can be useful is my mission!
