The biggest fish in the sea is a whale shark
But a whale shark isn’t a whale
Though it’s a shark it’s a gentle as a puppy dog’s tail

See how they sparkle
With spots and stripes on their dark backs
Like patterns painted by an artist

See how they glide
Filtering the water
Catching plankton for their dinner

Whale sharks have 3000 teeth
But they don’t use those teeth to eat

And when they swim they swim real slow
They move their bodies side to side
To get where they want to go
