    As a mother of two, Claudia is well versed in the big questions that little people ask, and her lullabies elevate the themes of childhood, giving the child’s voice breathing space and the dignity of a wide, inclusive stage. Like a gentle coaching session for parents, reminding them to slow down and count the puffs on their children’s dandelion clocks, Little Wild Lullabies is an album that works as well for the families of long-awaited newborns as it does for school-age children. This world of security and magic is one that you would wish for any child.

The Story of Little Wild Lullabies

Little Wild Lullabies is a collection of indie folk ballads and lullabies as much for parents as it is for their little ones.

Anchored in Claudia’s warm and layered vocal harmonies, these songs are amplified with inspired folk pop arrangements and orchestral sound cues designed to provoke the imagination. This is care of the amazing Bruce and Andy Lynch who share production credits, along with musical performances on the record with musical collaborators Matt Short and Nathan King on several tracks.

Claudia was drawn to create this mindful and quietly exultant music firstly to survive parenthood herself (most songs were road tested at bedtime) and also to send wishes, hope, and a gentle hug in sound to parents and caregivers in their most beautiful, yet challenging hours.

Two of the featured singles on this album won APRA awards for Best Children’s Song of the Year (2008 for Lullaby Time and 2010 for Home Sweet Home) as unreleased demo recordings created in her bedroom studio. The album was a finalist for Children’s Album of the Year in 2017.
