I see a rainbow when I wake up and I look outside
I close my eyes tight, and make a wish and think of lucky things

RAINBOW MAKE MY DAY

RAINBOW, RED AND ORANGE AND YELLOW
GREEN BLUE PURPLE INDIGO
RAINBOW SHINE MY WAY

But then the rain comes down
And vanishes my rainbow right out of the sky
So I just go out and jump in puddles
Til I find her and hang her up to dry

RAINBOW, WHERE’S MY LUCKY

REFRACTING, RAINBOW SHINE MY WAY

I wish for books to read, and shelves to store them alphabetically
I wish for trees to climb, I wish for a flower garden all mine
I wish for a puppy, please Mum? I wish for peace for everyone
I wish for sun and rain at the same time, cos rainbows never go out of style

Do Do Do Do

So now I’m making rainbows
On coloured paper to give to all my friends
I’m seeing rainbows everywhere
I just can’t stop once I begin
