We live in a rainbow world

How do you feel yellow bee?
What will you play blue spotted ray?
What will you sing black swallow?
What will you think of tomorrow?
What can you see green parrot?
What can you smell brown bear?
What can you hear grey elephant
Under the rainbow shining here?

If I had wings or a beak or could walk on four feet
Or had flippers and gills or a lizards fine frills

Would I love sunshine or would I seek shadows?
Would I see more colours in every rainbow?
Would I be able to walk in their shoes
And know that these colours are too good to lose?

What do you know shiny stone?
What do you see tallest tree?
Why do you ripple, running river?
And what do you dream of?
Do you remember, great mountains
When you were down there below?
And where do you rush to so slow
Oh glacier all covered in snow?
